Another Update

Kinda neglected this again haven't I? lol

The begging of November I was in Hong kong for nearly 2 weeks which was super fun and I loved every minute of it, I might make a seperate blog post for photos when I have finally sorted through them lol.

Anyway I have been making some more dragons for my shop the last two weeks, this week hasnt been too productive as I have had a cold :(

First up non-dragons:

Dishonored 2 came out when we landed back in the UK so I made a Rune as I love the game so much!

Steampunk octopus, Love this little guy, he came out better then I was expecting. He was suppose to have a top hat as well but after I had antiqued the metal it didn't look right.

Dragon D20 couple, the d20s are removable and can be switched with each others.

They are also not stuck together so the can be posed differently. They are available here

And I finally made Novembers Birthstone: Topaz! I really love the colour combination of this one, available here

I have also made Decembers Birthstone as well but that's waiting to be varnished, which I shall do shortly.

Birthstone dragons update

September, Sapphire, I don't know what happened when I was photographing this one, somehow the white background kept picking up a blue/purple tint from somewhere. Most annoying. Better photos here

This one is probably my favourite so far, October, Opal. It kinda came out feminine so I am going to do another one with a blue belly. More photos and the etsy listing here

Birthstone Dragons

I've been working on a new series of dragons this past month, Birthstone Dragons! I started with June as I started the series in May and I wanted to list them in the shop as soon as they were done. Logically the ones that would sell would be the dragons whose months were closer (gifts and such).
So here is June Pearl:
Tricky to photograph the dragon and get the pearl in focus at the same time especially as my 35mm lens has just broken :(

July Ruby:
A bit of planning has to go into the colour schemes because Ruby is red just like Garnet and I don't want two similar dragons with only one difference.

August Peridot:
This one casued me the greatest difficulty with the colour scheme, I was stuck on this for quite some time which is why I am not as far into the series as I would have liked at this point. I was going to leave it and work on Septembers but I am glad I persevered as I think this one is my favourite so far.

June and July have already sold so I am planning on restocking them soon but August is going to be in the shop today or tomorrow? (still waiting on the varnish to dry).

So that's what I have been working on so far.
