I'll be shutting my shop for the holidays on Monday 21st December (which is last post for 1st class mail as well) but until then buy any pair of earrings and receive a FREE gift box for them! Perfect for stocking fillers, Secret Santa or maybe just a treat for yourself :) Shop HERE

Fimo Friday
So I made these guys recently, I had planned them to be for sale however the super glue I use to glue the cork in the glass vial has gone all frosty at the top. I'm not happy to sell dragons I am not 100% proud of, and these guys were looking really good till then. So anyway they will be staying with me and going up with the rest of the Christmas decorations.
The silver one has a hook in his back for some ribbon so he can be hung on a tree.
I still have other dragons and handmade earrings in the shop! as the image above explains I have a discount code running till cyber Monday (on orders over £10)

Fimo Friday
I made myself a little Sphero BB-8 Droid necklace to wear at the Star wars Midnight showing in December. Made from super sculpey and painted with acrylics.
I was commissioned to make a dragon with the theme of Space. So I made this little guy, he came out really well, so pretty! The moon is super sculpey painted with acrylics.
And finally I made another Dragon's dust, with the theme of Halloween and Poison. He is now sold.

Final inktober week
Yay, I managed to do a couple more than last year! It was quite a challenge to find things to draw, or things that I could draw. Anyway I am pleased with what I drew and I even ventured out of my comfort zone a couple of times. I also think I got into the groove a bit more towards the end, utilising cross-hatching for shading.

This weeks Inktober
This week started out with a nature theme then I ran out of things to draw so I found an old SLR camera and then finally a bit of fan art from Star wars. All drawn with Staedtler fineliner pens and a Derwent Graphik Grey pen, and a smidge of watercolours.

Inktober so far
Sketched up in pencil first, then I go over the lines with Staedtler fineliners or Derwent Graphik pens and in the case of the moon; Papermate flair pen. Some are better then others and some have more time spent on then others. Its a good challenge for myself, not only to try to draw something everyday but also trying to shade in pen (which you can probably tell I am not very good at lol). I am also trying to do different subjects as well like buildings, not just sticking to animals.

Salisbury Baron Hunt
Currently my home town Salisbury is playing host to some arty Barons as celebration of 800 years of the Magna Carta (The Cathedral holds one of four). There are 25 Barons dotted around Salisbury and yesterday I finally found all of them. Here are my 3 favourite ones:
The Stained Glass Flower Baron by Louise Luton
The Salisbury Baron by Jodie Silverman
I just love the details on the back
East Meets West by Sam Coe and Archie Cook
Love the Tiger!
