This is a pencil case i made for my best friend, who after seeing my pencil case i made for myself wanted one. So here it is, made with nice strong exterior fabric, I'm getting the hang of putting zips in as well now :)
with spots inside!

Quick sketches
Are all i have time for now :( Here are some of those sketches:
This is Betty the Bateleur eagle, i took this photo at a Jubilee celebration that had Falconry. Sketched this in the evening after the event. Various shades of graphite.
These are Eider ducks, King Eider, Spectacled Eider and Eider. On Cartridge paper with a light wash of watercolour.
I do have another painting, an acrylic of Betty but i need to take another photo of it as the first one doesn't do it any justice.

Sunshine
Makes me happy. I am loving the weather here in the UK, just wish i had more time to enjoy it and wasn't working so much :(
These are yummy Cornetto earrings made from fimo, i don't think i was happy with the end result but after about 2 months i put some ear hooks on them and am currently wearing them as its suitable for the weather :)
Today was meant to be productive but nothing worked, so i found some things i made a few months ago but never posted about them:
I made this before i went on holiday and was going to add more charms to it but i haven't had time to make them and as the Diamond Jubilee is only a 9 days away I've left it as it is and have been wearing it lots.

Union jack bunting
So i think this will be my last bunting i make for awhile, its fun to make but i have plans for many other things :)
2.5 metres, 10 flags (1 is cropped out in the photo)
The reverse has red white and blue so which ever way its hung it will look good.
The Jubilee is getting closer, I'm getting excited :)

Look what i made...
.. a new pencil case!
This is my first time sewing a zip in, so its a little wonky, but i don't care as its only going to hold my pencils.
Spotty lining!
and it fits alllllll my stuff :) i am really pleased with how this turned out. I used a tutorial from Lisa Lam's 'The Bag Making Bible' and this was my first try. I know the outside fabric isn't too exciting but it was the most heavy dutyish fabric i had.
Oh and here is a pic of my helper, asleep on my fabric.

More bunting
Bunting is so much fun to make:
These 3 are now available from my Folksy shop. I have spent the morning readjusting my postage prices with the new prices from Royal mail, rather annoying that anything under 750g is £2.70, when most of my stuff that I send never goes over 100g :(
Anyway quite inspired to do some acrylic painting and i know exactly what picture i want to paint :)
